A: This solar security camera works with UBox app, just install UBox app on the phone, turn on the camera, and register an account, then add the camera according to the app guide.
Q2: Is there any monthly fee?
A: This home security camera supports sd card recording and cloud storage, if you use a micro sd card (included) to save recordings, there is no montly fee; if you want to upload the recordings to the cloud, there will be a little montly fee.
Q3: Does it support 5G WiFi?
A: This WiFi camera only supports 2.4G WiFi, it does not support 5G WiFi or 4G cellular network. If you changed the wifi, have to reset the camera and setup as brand new.
Q4: The solar camera shows online, but I can not see live picture.
A: The outdoor security camera needs stable wifi signal, if the camera is too far from the wifi router, it will be hard to load live picture, please move the camera near the router, restart the camera and phone.
Q5: My camera is offline after working some days.
A: Make sure the camera has power(reconnect solar panel), try to reset the camera, setup as brand new, and move it near the wifi router.

Thursday, 26 March 2026BULLET PROOF. Lasted all winter into the -30s.
Bullet proof. This thing lasted all winter in northern Ontario Canada. At one point it had 30cms of snow accumulated on the solar panel and the battery lasted until the snow could melt almost a week later in -30 Celsius. The camera is decent quality but do take note an entire year of data is like $200. Still $17/month tonhave off grid camera footage is awesome.

The jobsite security camera delivers useful coverage after a full battery charge. I appreciate the alerts, which are more useful than I expected, and the picture, which is good in both daylight and porch light. The main issue is that cloud and storage options should be explained more clearly, but it remains a practical security option. It is not perfect, but it is useful.

For my dock, this jobsite security camera does exactly what I hoped. It was quick after reading the guide to mount, the live view is detailed for the price, and the notification settings are handy when deliveries arrive. With the cellular connection, I can check in from my phone without extra wiring. I would choose it again for another spot.
