Why can't I add the WiFi camera to the AJCloud app?
1. Please ensure you have installed the correct app: the AJCloud app. Using an incorrect app will prevent the camera from being successfully added.
2. Check if your camera only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi. If it does, make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network when adding the camera. If your phone is connected to a 5 GHz network, the camera will fail to be added.
( Models currently supporting dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz): HX-2PT1; HX-2PT1-5; HX-2PT1-2; ZC-IPC213; ZC-IPC216. )
3. When adding the camera, place it close to the WiFi router. If the distance is too far, the camera cannot pair with the network and the setup will fail.
4. Confirm that you have turned on the camera’s power switch (the camera is powered off by default).
After powering on, you should normally hear a voice prompt and the working indicator will alternately flash in red/blue, which means the camera is ready to be added to the AJCloud app. lf you don't hear a voice prompt or the working indicator light doesn't flash in red/blue, please reset the camera and wait for restart, then try adding it again. (lf it is not set up within 3 minutes, it will enter sleep mode to conserve battery. In this case, please restart the camera.)
5. The camera battery may be too low to power on. If the indicator light does not light up when you switch on the camera, it means the battery is extremely low. Please charge the camera for 3 hours using a 5V phone charger, then try adding it again.
