What should I do if my router is 5 GHz WiFi?

Please note that, except for a few models (HX-2PT1; HX-2PT1-5; HX-2PT1-2; ZC-IPC213; ZC-IPC216) which support dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), all other WiFi cameras only support 2.4 GHz WiFi and do not support 5 GHz WiFi.
Therefore, if your camera only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi, please connect your phone to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network before adding the camera.

Most routers with 5 GHz also provide 2.4 GHz. (The 2.4 GHz network name usually shares the same prefix as your 5 GHz network. For example, the 2.4 GHz WiFi name may be “Hello123,” while the 5 GHz WiFi name could be “Hello123-5G”.)
On your phone, go to WiFi settings and select the 2.4 GHz network. Connect your phone and set up the camera on this network. After setup, you may reconnect your phone to 5 GHz WiFi.

If your router indeed only provides 5 GHz WiFi, please replace it with a new dual-band router that supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi. Otherwise, the camera cannot be added to the app and will be unusable, in which case you will have to return the product.
