Most WiFi security cameras connect more reliably on a 2.4GHz network during setup. Check your router band and connect your phone to the required WiFi network before adding the camera.
Why can’t I add my Vidome WiFi camera to the app?
The most common reasons are the wrong WiFi band, incorrect WiFi password, weak router signal, the camera not being reset, or the phone not being connected to the correct network.
Why is my Vidome WiFi camera offline?
A Vidome WiFi camera may go offline because of weak WiFi signal, a changed router or password, low battery, app connection issues, or the camera needing to be restarted.
Why am I not receiving Vidome app alert notifications?
Check phone notification permissions, Vidome app alert settings, detection schedule, motion detection settings, and whether the camera is online.
Why is live view not loading even when the camera is online?
Live view may fail to load when the network is slow, the app connection is unstable, or the camera needs to be restarted.
