I have subscribed to a cloud storage service. Why aren’t videos saved to the cloud?

1. If you have multiple devices, please note that each device has its own independent cloud storage space, so you need to subscribe to cloud storage services separately for each device. Please check if you have subscribed to cloud services for the device that is unable to store videos.

 

2. If your device is indeed subscribed to cloud storage and the subscription is still valid, but no videos are being stored in the cloud, please check the camera settings in the app.

 

1) Open the UBox APP----Tap the camera to enter the live broadcast interface----Tap the settings icon in the upper right corner to enter Device settings----Tap “Storage management”, check that “Cloud video storage” needs to be turned on.



2) In the Device settings interface, Tap “Activity detection”, check that “Motion detection” needs to be turned on, and select "High" for Sensitivity.



3) In the Device settings interface, Tap “Schedule setting”, check that “Arming time” needs to be turned on.


4) Cloud Video Duration: In the Device settings interface, tap “Cloud Video Duration”, select a duration (do not select "Fulltime recording"). Cloud storage will only save video when the camera detects motion. After selecting "Fulltime recording", the camera's motion detection sensor will be turned off and the video will be recorded to the SD card 24/7.



Two points to note:

1) The best distance for the camera's motion detection sensor to work is 15~25 feet. Moving objects that are too close or too far from the camera may cause the camera to fail to detect them. Please check the camera's installation location and monitoring range.

2) When you open the UBox APP to view the live feed, the camera's motion detection sensor will stop working. When the UBox APP is closed, the camera's motion detection sensor will be in standby mode and ready to detect moving objects. So when you open the UBox APP to view the live feed, the camera will not save video to cloud storage.
