Why Do Most 4G Cameras Use the Included SIM Card?

Different countries and regions use different 4G modules, network bands, and carrier settings. For this reason, most HOSAFE 4G camera versions are matched with the included SIM card to help ensure normal cellular connection and app operation.

In general:

  • Global version: supports using your own SIM card by default.
  • Other 4G versions: work only with the included SIM card by default.
  • Local SIM use: may require a compatibility check before use.

What Should I Do If I Want to Use My Own SIM Card?

Please contact HOSAFE support before replacing the included SIM card. The support team can check whether your camera version can be upgraded or configured to work with your local SIM card.
