Great Option for Security Without WiFi

I needed something for outdoor security where WiFi was not really an option, so that is what led me to this.And so far, it has been a really solid setup.I like that it runs on cellular, because it gives you coverage in places where you would normally not be able to use a regular camera. That alone makes it a lot more flexible.The video quality is clear, and having the 24/7 recording is a big plus. It is nice knowing that things are being captured consistently instead of just relying on motion.Setup was pretty straightforward, and once it was up and running, it has been reliable.Overall, a great option if you need a security camera in an area without WiFi and still want consistent coverage.

Reliable Watch Over the Driveway - Remote Property

For my remote property, this 4G LTE solar camera does exactly what I hoped. It was straightforward to mount, the live view is acceptable even after sunset, and the notification settings are a nice safety backup. With the cellular connection, I can check in from my phone without extra wiring. It has become part of my daily security routine.

Sturdy, Always On, Works if Power Out & Off-Grid, a Sim Card Cellular Device So Needs Subscription

I didn't realize when I ordered this solid quality outdoor security camera that it operates just like your cellphone can operate no matter where you are without wifi using the cellular tower network. This enables it to be always on alert 24/7 with no down time so you miss nothing, and it can operate off-grid, but also at home, and will stay on even if the power goes out with the solar panel to produce power for the rechargeable battery. That also means you basically need to subscribe like your phone so it can run off the 4G network. They give you a brief initial free amount with 300M of traffic and storage, but you will need to download their eSeeCloud app and subscribe to use it permanently for security monitoring. But that gives you a lot of good services besides the battery with solar backup always-on where it senses constantly and starts recording any movement every time so you don't miss a second of activity you're trying to capture. It has a 60 foot sensor detection range which is longer than many others, a built-in microphone and speaker that allows remote two-way communication, has the all-weather housing for outdoor environments, has a spotlight, and alarm with alerts that it sends to your phone. I tested it and it's pretty easy to set up, connectivity appears to be good, and it produces clear color images, including also color night vision . Like a cellphone it has the monthly cost which is currently $19.99, although the price goes down if you pay for 6 months or an entire year at a time. So if you want constant live monitoring, especially off grid, or monitoring at home that will never go off even in a power outage, with alerts to your phone, then this seems like a good solution.

There is a lot to love with this low-cost security camera

Pros: This camera is a great value for the price. You can't beat this price for a camera with a built-in solar panel and this many features. This functions as it should – the motion detection works great and picks up people and cars without issue. The picture quality is great for day and night. Setup was a piece of cake, taking 5 minutes total. This is a standard-sized security camera, which is comparable to most others. This provided a good cellular connection and efficient connectivity. The battery life is good, and the solar panel keeps the battery fully charged. We live in Colorado, so we have a lot of sunshine for the solar panel.Cons: Recharging the data plan is frustrating. There is no option other than calling the company, which is out of touch in 2026. The solar panel mount is a bit flimsy in the high winds that we experience at our home.Overall, it is a good value for the money and would be 5 stars with a couple of small changes.

Great Option for Areas Without WiFi

I set this 4G LTE security camera up on a shed where I do not have WiFi coverage, and it has been reliable so far. The cellular connection was easy to activate, and having the included 64GB SD card meant I could start recording right away without buying extras. I like the AOV 24/7 recording feature for continuous coverage, and the 360 degree view helps me monitor the entire area without blind spots. The solar panel has kept the battery charged with regular sunlight, so I have not needed to take it down for recharging.The AI motion detection sends alerts that have been mostly accurate, though I did adjust the sensitivity to cut down on notifications from passing branches. Video quality is clear during the day, and night footage is usable for checking activity around the property. The only thing to plan for is making sure you have a compatible data plan for the 4G service. Overall, it feels like a practical security solution for remote locations where traditional WiFi cameras are not an option.
